hello
first off, congratulations on getting accepted. i have yet to hear from my "authorities" to see if I've gotten accepted. I had a question for you or for anyone who has experienced the process of being accepted
how long did it take, after sending in your application, for you to hear from the people that accept students? It's only been a couple of weeks so far for me but our program doesn't start until Spring 2008.
Thanks for any info, much appreciated
And again, congrats. take it all in with a grain of salt and be consciously greatful about the position you're now in. Have fun.

Hi - Just finished my 2nd week of school with a 16yo, 9yo, and 2yo at home! It's going to be a definite challenge. And with summer vacation here now, I'm trying to get my 2 older ones to pitch in more. We can do it, right!?!?!

According to MRISAFETY.com, unless your dental implant is held in place magnetically, you should not experience any difficulty during an MRI. But it is still a good idea to mention it to your MRI technologist prior to the procedure. They'll have you fill out a 'screening form' before they start, so don't worry. You can tell them about it, then.
Good luck

I suffer from chronic headaches, so, I'm going for an MRI tomorrow. I just have a question, I had a root canal done a few years ago and he inserted a post into the tooth for support, I know it's a metal post, so, my question is, can I get an MRI? I know metal and magnets do go good to together..lol I forgot to inform my doctor about it, so, is it safe to get an MRI?
Thanks.
